ABSTRACT: The role of vocational education in promoting circular economy practices is crucial for sustainable development and resource efficiency. This study aimed to evaluate how vocational education programs incorporate circular economy principles, assess the impact on students' knowledge and skills, and measure student satisfaction with the training. A survey design was chosen to gather detailed insights from participants. The sample size included 180 students enrolled in programs emphasizing circular economy practices. Purposive sampling ensured that participants had relevant experience in this area. The case study was conducted at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Findings showed that vocational education significantly enhanced students' understanding of circular economy concepts, improved their ability to implement sustainable practices, and fostered a commitment to environmental stewardship. Students expressed high levels of satisfaction with the curriculum, noting its relevance and practical applications. It was recommended that vocational training institutions expand their focus on circular economy practices and provide ongoing professional development for instructors to stay updated on the latest sustainable practices.
